Also, the exchange rate per 1 Russian ruble is 0.41 MDL, the Romanian LEU (RON) costs today 3,77 MDL and the Ukrainian Hrivna (UAH) - 1,55 MDL.

The exchange rate established by NBM today for UK Pound is 19,19 MDL, a Turkish lira (TL) - 8,12 MDL and a Bulgarian Lev (BGN) - 8,20 MDL, BASA-press reports.

62% of the money appropriated from the state budget is used to remunerate the employees of the residential institutions, and only one third is directed to cover the children’s needs. These calculations were presented by ombudsman, Tamara Plamadeala, BASA–press informs.

The ombudsman says that following an analysis conducted at the residential institutions, it was found that in some boarding schools there is teacher per every two children or even one. The experience Moldova gained during a year of liberal government is regrettable, even though a lot of rhetoric is done, as the core minus of the current Parliament and parliamentary majority is the incapacity to dialogue. From Thursday, July 29, citizens will be able to submit an application for change of passport at post offices. The procedure of application consists in personal filling of the questionnaire within the post office requesting changing the passport and pays the additional fee for postal services, according to established tariffs.

Applications and materials for the issuance of passports, received through post offices will be sent to the address of State Information Resource Centre "Registru" by registered letter with notice of "recommended" not later than 5 working days of the application receipt from the applicant.
